8/28/15 – Anabella Tidona: Bio
Anabella Tidona is a Federally and California Court Certified Spanish Interpreter, CMI and CHI. She was born and raised in Argentina, where she received a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires. Concurrently, she studied English-Spanish Conference Interpreting with leading Conference Interpreter Trainer Lucille Barnes.
In the US, she has consistently interpreted in both legal and medical settings, but her passion for the latter prompted her to pursue an advanced degree in Medical Translation. Anabella obtained a Master’s Degree, Máster Universitario en Traducción Médico-Sanitaria, from Universitat Jaume I. She studied under Dr. Fernando A. Navarro and Dr. Ignacio Navascués.
She enjoys teaching and has taught Medical Interpreting classes at L.A. Translation. She currently serves as Secretary for the Association of Independent Judicial Interpreters of California.
